I love my GPS

I love my GPS - it has made my driving life - and consequently a large portion of my life - sooooo much easier. Gone are the days of hassling with other people's descriptions "Turn left at the house that used to be blue, . . . ." I can route around traffic jams, take alternate routes without fear of becoming hopelessly lost, and fearlessly find my way to new places. It's great when driving w my husband too, it feeds him directions that he likes, "Drive 1.3 kilometers and turn left" - as opposed to "Just head that-a-way and I'll tell you when to turn."
It has a screen capture - you can see that there I am - parked at beadFX. The alternate route that I take due to the current construction shows clearly, along with the frequent detour into McDonalds. ;-)

Hi! Gosh, it's funny to see myself on the widget as "Belfast, Maine"...I'm usually Barrie, ON...but I'm on vacation and just making sure you're working as I gazy out the hotel window at Penobscot Bay...hee.
Re the GPS...I love mine too...LOOK where it takes me! But beware the map purchase if this is a Garmin (which the screen looks like). What a hassle!
In any case~I've found one lovely bead store down here (Aboca Beads in Damariscotta, ME) and am enroute to another today. I've scoured the beach, but no beach glass finds yet (sob..).
Tomorrow is another day!
Off to Freeport, ME.....

Yep - it's a Garmin and purchasing the map upgrade is an exercise in frustration. I've given up twice. And I also didn't resubscribe to the traffic reports, as the process was too torturous. I love the product - but HEY GARMIN - you could use some help with process flow on your site. I have money here that you're not getting because you make it too hard to buy!

Have fun!
