After spending the last week camping and relaxing on the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, I'm finally back to work.But I didn't manage to escape beads for the entire week! While on our way to hike the Cup & Saucer Trail on Manitoulin Island, we dropped into Lillian's Crafts in M'Chigeeng. There we found quite a large selection of seedbeads and bugles for sale, as well as some gorgeous beadwork. If you are ever in the area, definitely make a stop there to check out the beadwork, carvings and stunning quill boxes.
The scenery is definitely something to see as well! I could easily have spent another week sitting on the shores of Flower Pot Island or hiking the Bruce Trail watching the clear turquoise waves crash against the rocky shoreline.
