Catherine Winter returns to Beadfx this Thursday June 4th with How to Price you Jewelry: Starting a Microbusiness. Catherine Winter successfully makes and sells jewelry using her own handcrafted lampwork beads and silver components. She spends her summers working the craft fair circuit in Ontario, and wrapped the last two seasons with a booth at the presitigious One-of-a-Kind Craft Show. She spends her winters sailing in the Caribbean. If you are thinking of starting your own business, this is a great way to get started!
Saturday June 6th, from 10-12:30pm Marilyn Gardiner is offering her Basic Bead Stringing class.
And she is also offering the Byzantine Rose Bracelet from 1:30-4:30pm. This is a beginner plus chain mail class, students should have previously completed a chain mail project.
Next weekend is jam packed with classes. Thursday June 11th is Rosemary's Celtic Star Pendant from 6:30-8:30.
Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th Amy Waldman-Smith has a two day Introduction to Making Glass Beads course.
Saturday June 13th from 10-1pm is Robert Burton's Silver Braided Bracelet. This is a beginner/intermediate class. Some experience is recommended.
Saturday June 13th Stephanie Dixon is offering her Wire Bead Crochet Multi-Strand Necklace from 2-5pm.
Sunday June 14th is Ring Day!! Stephanie Dixon starts off with the Bling Ring class from 11-1pm. This is a beginner class.
Robert Burton's Wire Wrapped Gem Stone Ring and Pendant from 1:30-4:30pm. This is a beginner/intermediate class, some experience recommended.
Robert Burton's Wire Wrapping 101, 3 week class begins on Monday June 15th. There are a few spaces left, but this class always fills fast.
Happy Hour Torching is on again this Thursday from 5-9pm. Buy one hour get one free. Dwyn will be in around 7:00 to help you out, offer advise and torch away with you!
