We have a new shipment of freshwater pearls this week - but I guarantee - there are pearls here like yo gamma never saw.

Yep - we've got your traditional pearls, round, rice, cream, white. Because - you know, they are CLASSIC. They go everywhere, do everything. From Brides to Bar Mitzvahs, from Work to Weekends, pearls are always appropriate.

In fact, if an uber-elegant pair of earrings made with half-drilled pearls is just the ticket - we have some half-drilled pearls - sold in matched pairs. These are extremely nice quality pearls. Half-drilled means the hole goes into the pearl - but not all the way through - so you insert a post into the pearl - a little glue on the post first, and then add the pearl - and the pearl seems to float there - unsupported. Or - you can create the same illusion with a fine chain - inserted into the hole - but does not come out the other side.

But for those walks on the wild side - we have your funkalicious pearls. Stick Biwa, Cornflake Keishi, and Coin pearls.

So come give some pearls a whirl.

We also scored a stash of handmade, Artisan Lampwork beads - made in Czech. Handmaking beads in Czech has been a cottage industry for many years. While it fell out of favour during the communist regime - it is now being revived as a means of support for many families. Check them all out here!
