The Business Chat - Start Now.

Oh boy, it arrived! I pre-ordered my copy of this book months ago and I’ve been waiting with bated breath for the publication day! Yay! It’s here! My copy arrived!

I already know that I will love The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future by Chris Guillebeau. A book about people following their dreams and becoming entrepreneurs? A discussion on how to be a microbusiness? Starting up for less than $100? Totally up my alley!

At 34 Chris Guillebeau has never worked for anyone except himself. He set a goal to travel to every country on the planet by the age of 35 and 5 years later he is almost there. (Note: having a goal is very important). He talks openly and honestly about how he works from remote locations. In this book he has collected and thoroughly documented stories from 50 others around the planet of their own forays into entrepreneurship.

This is a book to read if you are doubting if your dream is possible. If your friends and family do not understand what you are doing and all around you think you are crazy, know that you are not alone. All over the world people are changing the way they work and following their hearts to create lives that are more creative and more meaningful.

For those of you who are sitting on the fence not knowing if you should start selling or begin a business I have 2 words.

Do it.

It won’t be any easier later and you still won’t have all the answers. Just know why you are doing it and the how you can figure out as you go.

Yes it will be hard work. There is no magic bullet, no short cuts and no guarantee. There is however passion, satisfaction, joy and the thrill of waking up thinking “oh boy, I get to go to play work!”.

Unbeatable.

Read the book.

Sometimes the universe sends you messages. While pondering the arrival of my book and thinking of how people are changing their worlds through entrepreneurship, I found this sign in an empty shop window.

You read The Business Chat because you want to run your own micro business. Why? What do you want your business to look like? What is your order?

Ps. This is NOT an affiliate link. I just like inspirational books that are more than touchy-feely you go girl books, books with substance.
