Fine Silver Bead Cores and Loops - for Lampwork or Metal Clay

We have an opportunity here for some of you who are interested in the Troll bead style bead cores. We have some excess from a special order - fine silver bead cores and a few other findings - also in fine silver - available for purchase under the "special order" rules - which is no further discount, no free shipping, and no frequent beader points (awarded or redeemed.)

These findings are made from fine silver, and the bead cores, embeddable jumprings and embeddable earwires can be used for fine silver/metal clay, or, for that matter, for an elegant touch on your polymer clay creations. The metal cores can be used for lampworked beads - you can make the bead DIRECTLY ON THE CORE. See my personal blog posting "Holy C--p - it works!" I haven't tried the embeddable jumprings or ear wires in the lampworked glass yet - but rest assured - I will!

For those of you who have been living under a rock, Trollbeads, Biagi, and etc are "systems" of components of interchangeable beads. They are large-hole beads on a chain that is designed to allow you to easily remove and swap out beads - and function much like a charm bracelet/necklace - in that you collect beads with meaningful significance, like souvenirs, anniversaries, special accomplishments, and the like. The lampworked beads for these that are sold in boutiques and specialty jewelers are staggeringly expensive - $60 and up, each. So there has been a lot of interest from those who actually make the beads in making them to work with these systems.

Here is a list of what we currently have - please call ( Tollfree 877-473-2323 or (416) 701-1373) or email us if you are interesting in getting some of these. If there is enough interest, we may re-order.

I love the threaded cores. I have just completed some experiments with Pandora-Style beads and they are turning out spectacular! I even put 24K gold on one with great success. Now everyone is wanting me to teach a course so that's what I'm doing this fall. I'm calling mine Juno beads after my studio name, Juno Studios which operates out of our local Rotary Arts Centre. Happy playing!!
