I have a question for you all today. We are working on designing a basic silversmithing class for beaders. We'll be covering using both sterling, and fine silver. It will incorporate basic soldering, and fusing - Using 'low tech' equipment. (equipment that can be picked up for less than $100 - rather than $1000) Making various types of headpins, and soldering jump rings are an obvious addition.
As a beader, Is there any particular technique you would love to see added into this class? What would help you set your work apart? We want to design this class so that it's the most benefit, and useful to you. Let us know!

Is making cracked beads into set cabochons too complex for this class? It's such a shame when a nice bead cracks in half!
Really looking forward to taking this class!
