The Joy of Metal Clay: New Challenge Announced through Metal Clay Today

Metal Clay Today, an online  metal clay magazine, just announced their next challenge: Enamored (enameling on Metal Clay).  (BTW if you haven't subscribed it is easy, go to the site and sign up there are several membership options, including a free one at the bottom of the page!)

Here are the guidelines from their site:

Entry into Enamored Juried Challenge is FREE and open to all Metal Clay Today registered subscribers.

• Entries must contain metal clay, any brand, any type.
• Entries must be enameled.
• Should be the artists original design, but if submitting a piece made using the instructor's design, be sure to give that artist credit for the design.
• In 250 characters or less, describe how your piece fits this challenge.
• Include materials used and dimensions of the piece.
• Only 2 entries per subscriber with a limit of 3 photos per entry, be sure to include a photo of the back of the piece.
• All entries must be "G" rated (general audience) as determined by the staff of Metal Clay Today.

Entries will be accepted between June 15 - July 15, 2012.Voting for the Viewer's Choice Award begins July 22 and runs through August 5, 2012.
Winners announced August 10, 2012.

The contest is sponsored by Rio Grande and first prize includes a PMC sterling firing kit with clay!

I have never mastered the art of enamelling so I won't be entering this one.  Can't wait to see the entries though.
