New This Week!

Swarovski Encrusted Orbs

s30069 Swarovski Filigree Beads - 13 mm Round - Ruby and Rose / Antique Gold (1)

Ooooo - how beautiful are these? Swarovski encrusted filigree beads. They are so awesome, I can't even think of anything clever to say about them. They are just so awesome - they are full of awesome-sauce. Actually - they are full of air inside, which makes them light enough to use as earrings - or even 4 of them in a single earring - so check out the inspiration, which does exactly that!

s30071 Swarovski Filigree Beads - 8 mm Round - Crystal AB / Antique Gold (1)One of the things that I think is particularly fascinating about these beads is how much the colour of the metal changes the look s30072 Swarovski Filigree Beads - 8 mm Round - Crystal AB / Antique Silver (1)of the Swarovski rhinestones. For instance, this is Crystal AB with Antique Gold metal, and this Crystal AB with Antique Silver. Equally fabulous - but completely different!

Stone of the Month

s29571 Stone Beads - 6 mm Faceted Rondelles - Pyrite (strand)Flipping over to something much earthier - new Stone of the month - Pyrite! I love the rough elegance, the understated quality of pyrite - it's such a contrast - it makes me want to build huge, chunky bracelets, mix it with Onyx or something red, like garnet.

96913945773-61 Metal Beads - 6 mm Cornerless Cube with Bumps - Rhodium Plated (1)Some of you requested the Tierracast cornerless cubes - so here they are, in Rhodium, Copper, Noir, and, of course, Brass Ox. For those of you who haven't been lusting after these, they are cube bead with the corners whacked off and a bump on the faces, that makes them look like some sort of exotic dice. And they come in a range of sizes too.

Owls!

s30050 Carved Resin Beads - 45 mm Owl - Simulated Ivory (1)Simulated Ivory Owls - no ivories were harmed in the making of these owls - and no owls were 'armed either. s30051 Carved Resin Beads - 45 mm Smiling Fish - Simulated Ivory (1)Or no howls were harmed.

But if you are worried about 'ungry owls, you can get them a nice simulated ivory fishy for breakfast.

Dragonflies!

s30058 Decoupage Picture Beads - 20 mm Square - Assorted Dragonflies (1)s30052 Wood/Bone Inlay - 26 mm Coin - Dragonfly - Black on White (1)My - it's quite the trip through the animal kingdom here today, what with the owls and the fishes, and also Dragonflies! We have the Decoupage Picture Dragonflies and the Inlay Dragonflies! And if that isn't buggy s30062 Handmade Boro Lampwork - Tropical Mick Jagger Fish - Speckled Blue (1)enough for you, how about some s30061 Cloisonne - Lady Bug - Fire Engine Red (1)Cloisonne Ladybugs?
