Get your creative juices flowing
Black Orb Night
by: Kelly Garland
This
is a interesting and fun bracelet that can go casual or uptown. I've
used jump rings in the examples but these can be eliminated if you have a
smaller sized wrist or prefer them without. This is a super easy project
and should take you no more than 15 mins.
1)
Cut required length for wrist. You want at least 1 extra inch of wire at
each end for your crimping and loops. Also keep in mind the larger
diameter of the beads will also use up an additional length of wire. I
like to add an extra inch and once I've secured one end and stacked the
beads, I can lay it around my wrist for a proper size check.
2)
Add your crimp securely and then your crimp cover. Note: If you are
eliminating the jump rings, attach one half of the clasp to the loop
prior to slipping it through the crimp, then proceed as usual by securing
the crimp..
3) Starting with a silver
lentil, stack the beads in groups of 10 then add another lentil. Make
sure the mushrooms are sitting flush with the next beside it. This is
easily done by holding your unfinished bracelet vertically and twisting
the beads in a clockwise manner.
3)
Once you've reached your desired length, end with another lentil and
finish off the remaining end. Make sure the beads are snug and your
crimped loops at the ends are nice and snug.
