March goes out like a Lion with fantastic classes

Did you know that the phrase 'March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb' dates back to the early 17th Century? I'm definitely ready for some milder weather, are you?

There is nothing lamb-like or mild about the late-March classes at BeadFX.

Of course, some of our instructors are presenting NEW classes including Angela Peace with a new Cavandoli project - Micro-Knotted Double Leaf Necklace. First Nations Instructor Naomi Smith is presenting a traditional Quillwork, Birch Bark and Beaded Pendant - the genuine porcupine quills are amazing! Wire artist Jane Doidge brings us Egyptian Spiral Links for a remarkable bracelet and necklace combination. Our own Kelly Garland will get you working with sheet copper to create a Copper Trinket Box. Lampworkers will be able to learn about sandblasting and altering the surface of their lampwork beads with bead artist Dwyn Tomlinson.

And yes, we have encore opportunities for previously presented classes! Students will learn how to use a long loom with Maria Rypan in her three-week Loom Series. Seedbeaders will learn all about the flat peyote stitch with Pamela Kearns. Roxann Bazetich-Ozols will take you through the basics of Right-Angle Weave (a.k.a. RAW) in a full-day class; and Amy Waldman-Smith's Intro to Lampworking Weekend, Part A, will get you started in creating your own glass beads. Plus, there are many more classes this session to get your creative juices running!
