Get your creative juices flowing
Something from the East
by: Lee Metsalo
This
is a basic stringing project blending beads from two different
points
east. Bali silver
beads are like the LBD
(Little Black Dress) – they make everything look good!
If, like me, you can’t wear yellow, try this necklace with turquoise, ice obsidian, turtirella agate, moss agate, carnelian, smoky topaz or red creek jasper. All would work well!
The tiny 2 mm rounds between the beads give a nice spacing and make the necklace bend and drape gracefully - much like knots in a pearl necklace, but without all the knotting!
Wire guardians and crimp covers to finish the ends make for a very polished and put-together finished look.
