The Viking Knit Class is finally here!

I know that some of you folks have been awaiting the Viking Knit class. Well, here it is! Laurie-Anne Clinton is an amazing instructor, and a gifted Toronto jewellery designer.
It's on June 24th.

If you're looking for an introductory beading class, Marilyn Gardiner's Basic Bead Stringing class, coming up this weekend, is a good place to start.

Beginners and expert beaders alike can learn how to make this Chinese Knot Necklace (in copper or silver).

Here is a peak into what's coming up next week:

Metalworking for Beaders: Creating your own Production Line

In this class, students will learn how to design and create their own limited production line of silver jewellery. Basic wax sculpting techniques are introduced and metal finishing skills are refined. Students will have the opportunity to complete three projects incorporating a consistent design element within each. And as an added bonus there will be a field trip to a jewellery casting house to get an insiders view on the process!

Just as a side note: there is a prerequisite for this course. It's Metal Smithing 101.

Cheers!
