Last week, I discussed the use of Scratch Foam to create do-it-yourself textures.
This texture material can be used to transfer writing on to your clay if you take an additional step and create a reverse mold.
1. First to write your word onto the scratch foam.
2. Then you take a two part molding compound, prepare it (usually by mixing two equal portions), then roll the molding compound over the word.
3. Allow the mold to set.
4. Remove from the board.
5.Voila, you have a stamp you can use to impress onto clay.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to upload my pictures.
I will try back again later to try and upload photos.
