Omigawd - check out these owls! Sculptures of owls - made of blown glass. These are a-freakin-mazing!
And if you are not familiar with how blown glass is made - and don't truly appreciate the challenge of making a sculpture with a medium that is 2000 degrees, constantly moving and can't be allowed to cool down, you can check out her video for a little view of the process.
I'm gobsmacked. As a glass worker - I am profoundly impressed.
