Enjoy Summer with Cool Classes

While I'm planning far-future classes and visiting instructors for 2016 as well as sharing near-future classes and events, I need to remind myself to enjoy the here and now. Summer activities are just getting underway and so are our summer classes.

We have several NEW classes in the latter-half of July to get your creative juices flowing. Metal artist Christine Woollacott brings us a Mokume Gane Ring - perfect for students who are ready for a new project using three different types of metal. Our own Kelly Garland, a metal artist in her own right, will take students of all levels through the steps of creating sterling silver hoop earrings - no soldering required! Cindy Goldrick bring a new enamelling technique - raku style enamelling that incorporates many of the same techniques as creating raku pottery. Jane Doidge who has brought us several exciting wire projects is back with a variation of the Egyptian Spiral to create a whole new set of jewellery pieces. Marilyn Gardiner also has a new chainmaille design that incorporates pearls. Please note that our air conditioning works very well in our classroom - it is suggested that you bring a sweater or wrap.
