Introducing a new Open Session for 2016:
Open Metal Studio: Kiln Enamelling

Calling all enamelling enthusiasts!

BeadFX is proud to announce another monthly Open Metal Studio session: Kiln Enamelling! With the enthusiastic response toward Christine Woollacott's various classes, Christine is going to facilitate this exciting new opportunity for enamelling enthusiasts.

Christine Woollacott is an award-winning artist trained through the Jewellery Art and DesignProgram in Vancouver. She has taught a variety of courses at BeadFX including Champlevé, Cloisonné and various other enamelling techniques. She also has new upcoming classes, now on the BeadFX website (follow the Classes link). She recently got the fantastic news that she has been accepted to teach several class at the 2016 Bead and Button!

Please note that the Open Metal Studio: Kiln Enamelling is not a class - you must have previous experience enamelling with a kiln; however Christine will be there to answer questions if you get stuck. Christine will bring in trivets, mesh firing trays, grinding tools and a firing fork, but please remember to bring your own enamel.

Open Metal Studio: Kiln Enamelling will be held monthly and the cost is a nominal $20 (plus HST) for a four hour session. This is a great opportunity to work on new kiln enamelling projects! The sessions are on the website now and you can call the store to register.
