Fire and Ice Bracelet with Pamela Kearns - Thursday November 8th from 6pm to 9pm





6mm fire-polished beads and delica beads create a colourful and stylish bracelet.  Reminiscent of the traditional Xs and Os design, you should be able to complete the bracelet within the class time.

Technique Focus: Right angle weave
Skill Level: Beginner

InstructorPam has been beading for several years using various beadstitching techniques. She passionately drawn to teaching and working with novice beading enthusiasts. Be a wonder woman! You'll have an amazing time learning how to create and personalize your version of this simple copper cuff and matching ring.

Description of class: This copper cuff bracelet and ring will introduce you to simple metalwork techniques such as folding, texturing and riveting, as well as patinas. The same technique will yield you either a pair of bracelets or a bracelet and two rings. Your cuff will be personalized - by what you add and how you finish it. Leave the cuff as bright copper, texture it, distress it and patina it. No two will be alike.

Instructor:Cindy has been teaching metalworking techniques for several years now at various bead stores and for bead society groups in Canada and the US. She is currently chair of the Toronto Bead Society.

Technique Focus: Metalwork, riveting and patina.
Skill Level: Beginner





The spiral braid is a creative alternative to the standard round braid. Forming deep wavy grooves, the completed braid looks stunning alone or when enhanced with seed beads.
This class will cover the 12 and 16-strand spiral braid, and a 10-strand spiral over a core. All of these braids are well suited to foam disc braiding and not difficult to learn.
This class will cover braiding, tension, end finishing and working with beads after braiding.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner
Prerequisite: Must have basic foam disc braiding knowledge.
Technique: Kumihimo Spiral Braids



Wire Wrapping 505 - 3 week course with Robert Burton - Starts Monday, November 12th from 6pm to 9pm



In this class you will learn how to make a Bracelet, Ring, two Pendants and Earrings (time permitting) using copper wire. You will learn basic wire techniques, wire wrapping and forming (sculpting). You will also learn the properties of the wire and the proper wire to use for different projects.
