My busts have arrived

;-) My bust forms for the bust form creative challenge that is. lol. I finally opened the box this morning, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the forms and bases. With shipping, the forms worked out to about $40 each. The acrylic base is heavy, and the rod is height adjustable. Pretty much almost exactly what I was looking for. Well, I really wanted a vintage judy...but I would have paid a lot more for that.

I can't wait to get started decorating them, plus I'm inclined to also try to make one completely from scratch. With luck, I'll have three on the reveal date. I'd love to hear how many of you are participating - And you most certainly do not have to buy a form - go ahead and make one!

They are in the US, the actual price is about half that - but with shipping they worked out to $40 each. Still, not a bad deal at all for the quality. Marg, I think you'll need to bring these in!

I have a vintage one that I bought when eatons was going out of business... but she won't be decorated... think I paid about $100 for her... She lives in a thrift shop evening gown... I also have a bust that I made a couple of years ago... (the one I made even has a head and face!) We'll be in Toronto this weekend so will seee you then!
