Fairy Lites

I whipped up this bracelet the other day because I just HAD to do something with the new Double AB top-drill Swarovski's. Omigawd - they are just soooo gorgeous.

All I did was string them, in random order, on some clear, stretchy thread. There is no trick or technique - the shape of the beads just makes them settle in next to each other in this wonderful texture!

I used the .7 mm stretch cord - I was going to double it, but it was too fat for the holes when doubled, so I just went with it as is, tied a surgeon's knot to secure it, and voila - an awesome halo of dancing colour. A twinkling rainbow of light, dipped in awesomesauce and covered with fabulous! sprinkles. You can't believe how amazing this looks in bright sunlight. Driving with it on it positively dangerous - ooooo, sparkly ....

I used all these colours, in no particular order - except I went easy on the Amethyst AB2x - as it seemed like it wanted to dominate the design and run away with it. I used about 78 - 80 - they are hard to count once strung, as they nestle together very cozily. Bracelet is 8 inches long, about 10 to the inch.
